is this what they call California Dreamin' Boss, or are you just bored?

you should go to Surf City, I've heard it's 2-to-1

PS. I heard zero Bauhaus Neutral

Surprised
Whacked. Never heard of that animation, nor seen it before. It's more than a bit disturbing!

Bit of a tangent but I once bought an official Bela t-shirt in Poundstretcher in Derry! For non Ireland/UK types Poundstretcher was/is a kind of Pound/Euro store before they ever existed. A very surprising place to get a Bauhaus shirt! Surprised

Hipsters gonna hip. It's almost as if they don't get the irony of a Bauhaus record on anything but black vinyl...

I'd love to spent my money on their gig.
I guess, if they not gonna kill themselves before and after that gig, some big tour gonna come.
I believe that Peter M. is in good health and shape after this heart attack.

They played a one-off in 2005 followed by a tour in 2006. I expect the same to occur this time around. Smile

Last year I've attended a Peter Murphy gig, one of those with David J where they played "In the Flat Field" album entirely, following to the second part of the gig entitled 'more bauhaus' where they played some popular songs like Bella Lugosi, She's in parties and even Ziggy stardust.

Show was great and everything, however Peter Murphy caused a wee bit of trouble during the first part of the set.
He started arguing with a couple of lads sitting in the front row, they were overly excited for sure, but nothing abnormal tbh, but it was enough to make Peter yell 'shut up for a second you french-canadian twats'. I don't know if you guys are aware on how Québec/Québecois people are, but let's just say that they were quite offended on a personal level, and the gig was almost over before the fourth song. (I still think Ziggy stardust wasn't in the setlist at first, and that was just an attempt to obtain redemption, anywho..).

Anyway folks, the question here is, does having both Daniel Ash and Kevin Haskins on stage adds anything to the experience? I mean, Peter Murphy + David J was pretty much a full blown bauhaus gig imho.

I attended at hi gig last year as well, and here in Poland, Wrocław (btw, the same venue where TSOM gonna play), he was shouting at light guy and kicked stage lights, humiliated drummer.
Would Daniel and David change something in music? I believe it will, Mark G.T. has different style then Daniel. Can't say the same about drumming style, it's also not the same.
But it's also sentiment, for those who have seen them before and chance for experience them for the first time with original members.
Band wins we might have chance to win.

It's definitely a massive buzz seeing them crackle onstage together.

Although they were very much falling apart last time i saw them in Kentish Town, but hey, that's post-punk goff-rock for ya.

Second gig added. Hopefully a world tour to follow. Haven’t seen them since 1983, so it would be good to see whether they are still as brilliant.

I just wonder if a guy who had a heart attack should be doing gigs a few months later? Not a doctor so maybe the answer is yes. Not sure I could!

Saw them last December on their Ruby tour and they were excellent, the gig exceeded my expectations, would love to see all 4 of them together.
