YES YES YES YES YES

*Dances around the floor*

I can't do Barcelona, (or Paris, for that matter, Diego), 'cause I'm going to be abroad 6th to 13th. But I was thinking about driving to Lisboa from Madrid... Wanna come?? :innocent: (problem is, I won't be driving back after the Lisboa gig, 'cause I have to stay in Caceres...)

Yes Yes Yes. We can take it to PMs as soon as I know any more details on my itinerary. There's two main issues like - one - it's a long way (and my fear of flying is too big), two - it's not cheap to get there. But it's a long time, so I could save some money, and doing stops in Barcelona and Bilbao too would make the trip more smooth, of course. :D And I really really want to do Lisbon this time, you know why.
There was so much goood will and planning the last time, and it didn't happen in the end, so maybe this time we've got another chance... :)

Hey this venue wasnt very good, bad sound and very high beer prices.
Hopefully they'll move to another.

yes jens it´s not a good place but is the only one that has a good capacity.
(2500)
other venues are quite smaller or craper.

i don ´t think is a good idea a change of venue, other venue can be worse than riviera

venues in madrid:

joy eslava (about 900 and average sound)
caracol (about 1000 crap sound)
copernico about 1000 awfuul sound)
heineken (best one about 1500, good sound but REAALY SMALL STAGE)

i emailed to the promoter for asking about it. if they reply me .i´ll inform..

but i think from now to march it will get fixed

La Riviera bad? What is good then? I found it way above average when I was there in 2000 - but then it was a very warm september night and half the roof was open so you could see some palmtrees against the nightsky...the drinks were strong enough also :innocent:

I do like la riviera

in 2006 they sounded good in my opinion(it could be a bit louder but everybody know about silver bullet ... :innocent: :innocent: )

and the sound in the venue is not bad. i´ve senn in la riviera the cult, simple minds, prodigy etc etc and all sounded great

I´ve phoned to ROCKNROCK( the company that brings the sisters to Spain) a moment ago.

at the moment LA RIVIERA is still closed. It seems that they´re waiting for lissenses from the Madrid Comunity , but it seems that is close to get it!

but in the worst of the cases, ROCKNROCK has a venue booked for if the riviera is close at the time of the gig

so can be a change of the venue(in this case i´ll inform) BUT NEVER A CHANGE OF THE DATE

so if you´ve got a flight booked , DON´T WORRY. there will be a gig!!
