GW16 - Deadline Saturday 8th December 11.30AM

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Blimey, we've only just finished the last one.

Saturday 8th December 2018

Bournemouth 12:30 Liverpool
Arsenal 15:00 Huddersfield
Burnley 15:00 Brighton
Cardiff 15:00 Southampton
Man Utd 15:00 Fulham
West Ham 15:00 Crystal Palace
Chelsea 17:30 Man City
Leicester 19:45 Tottenham

Sunday 9th December

Newcastle 16:00 Wolves

Monday 10th December

Everton 20:00 Watford

If you've got Gomez, he's broken his leg. Holding, Ramsey and Martial are crocked. Duffy has been grounded and has to tidy his bedroom as well.
CheMCI the big game on paper, but most of the others look more interesting in terms of relegation battles, oersonnel and general actual entertainment.

Good luck to the lot of you!

I was quite happy with this week, despite Aguero being out with a poorly finger.

I don't know whether to laugh or cry after that one. A reasonable points total and up the league a bit, but THEY PUT KANE ON AND LOST ME 21 POINTS is my latest earworm. Dammit, as Steve has to say far too often. Mind you, Spurs are jammy gits and managed to get into the next stages of the CL. I don't know if I was more stressed before they scored the late equaliser or afterwards. Mourinho isn't happy, I know that, but haven't had a chance to find out why properly. Watched the City game instead, when not scarfing down popcorn along to the BBC news channel. Klopp IS happy though, and that makes me happy. It amuses me that he looks like my friend Simon who is definitely not acquainted with football matters - unless I tell him.

Let's see... Salah! back on form. Richarlison, likewise. Could Rashford move clubs in January? People could do with him and it might do him good. Sigurdsson misses another penalty, but he's not in my team :D Dark Blues beating Light Blues was a bit of a surprise, but heyho. Everyone has off days, i guess. Kante is still very cheap, ya know. The ARSHUD and NEWWOL games scored 7 yellow cards each, though the NEWWOL one wins as there was a red too, for Yedlin.

On to the tables:

BB&S slaughtered the rest of us by nearly 200 points. IGM 2nd this GW, but it's not really anything to shout about, and we're still last. Bah.

The Yellow Jersey switches bodies to Dead Men Walking

Image

and the Big Shout Out belongs to Grewelthorpe United with 87 points.

Image

Over in the H2H, BB&S took the palms and head the league. The Crown stays with Brain Munich, so IGM shine and sparkle for another week in something!

Look to your sick lists! Steve's Shed is having a last bauble hung, so watch out for it. I'm off to find black glitter for my cobwebs.
